Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen, who tended to the victim said the armed men forced the driveway gates of the home open by using their car as a battering ram.
“The homeowner was assaulted by an armed suspect, before being held at gunpoint while the men ransacked his home making off with a flat-screen television and other undisclosed items. The men fled the scene in an awaiting getaway vehicle. Crisis Medical Paramedics assessed the victim on site, however, he declined further hospital treatment,” he said.
